Our Mission

Prism Business Training Corp. is committed to providing quality, relevant training in diverse environments to meet business requirements and individual learning styles.

Our Vision

Prism Business Training Corp. provides individuals and businesses with a working knowledge of internal accounting systems, accounting software and small business compliance.

Prism develops materials specifically to meet the needs of small business owners, employees, accountants and accounting consultants, providing the knowledge base and requirements unique to each entity.

Prism presents precise, in-depth, user friendly training, allowing participants to gain the knowledge required to implement what they have learned in their daily business life.

Our Managing Partners

Sue du PuySusan has more than twenty-five years of business, accounting, educator and consulting experience to a variety of companies, organizations and individuals. Sue has demonstrated success in business start-ups, business requirements, accounting and office procedures, training in both accounting and business accounting systems. Her education is in Business Administration, Accounting and Marketing.

Sue began her career by managing and maintaining financial records for a family plumbing and heating business. She also worked part-time for the school board as a substitute teacher for both elementary and secondary schools.  In the off business hours she was a Professional Figure Skating Coach, instructing children and adults from beginner to advanced level including taking teams to the Canadian National Championships.

In 1990 her father retired and closed the family business.  Sue moved on and embarked on a new venture, managing a carpet and flooring company.  She held direct responsibility for the business operations, management and accounting.

In the mid-nineties, Sue's entreprenurial drive came alive when she started her own accounting consulting business.  Her business provided business start-up, bookkeeping and accounting services and Simply Accounting by Sage® software support. After a few years of success, she found the need in the business community for accounting training.  She researched, outlined, developed and instructed both Simply Accounting by Sage® courses and workshops and a bookkeeping training course.  Her business and courses were recognized and registered with the Private Post Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia.

Sue sold her business in British Columbia and moved to Ontario where she started up her second accounting, consulting and training business.  After getting to know people and becoming involved in a new community, she was hired by Conestoga College to instruct Simply Accounting by Sage and accounting courses.  She also outlined, developed and instructed a QuickBooks® course for the College.  Sue is also involved with a group of Accountants and Engineers, which provide Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) services to businesses and corporations.  Her primary role is to provide costing analysis of the claim and participate in Canada Revenue Agency review of the claims.

Sue is a believer in being involved and helping out in the community. She has been both a director and treasurer of many non-profit organizations; Sports Clubs, Hospital Auxiliary Boards and Business Improvement Associations.  She successfully organized fundraising events to meet budget requirements for the Big Brothers and Sisters organization.

Sue is always looking for new opportunities where she can apply her business, accounting and training expertise.  She is a strong leader who understands the importance of analyzing the direction of a business and its structure and how to create an accounting structure that is best suited for a business to succeed.


Wendy KinsmanWendy has twenty-four years of experience in the small business community as a business owner, bookkeeper and accounting consultant. She has also volunteered extensively within her community

Wendy owned a General Store and operated a Post Office and ATB Bank agency in southern Alberta from 1982 to 1992.  In 1992 Wendy started Kinsman Business Services Inc. (KBS); initially, the focus was on bookkeeping, teaching and desktop publishing.  Simply Accounting by Sage® was the software of choice at the time and continues to be the only accounting software KBS supports. Over the past 15 years Kinsman Business Services has evolved to focus primarily on Small Business Accounting Consulting.  Ninety percent of Wendy's work is completed at clients' offices. This has made Wendy an expert in solving the daily challenges of a small business and an integral part of her clients' business team.

Wendy has developed content for Simply Accounting by Sage® Online Training Sessions to be published by Sage Software®.

Wendy loves her work and looks forward to new challenges that bring opportunities for learning and growth.
