SA-202 Budgets
This course demonstrates the use of the budgets feature in Simply Accounting by Sage. Attendees are shown the hands-on application of setting up the budget function, as well as budget-related reports in Simply Accounting by Sage.
After completing this course, attendees will have received the information required to:
- Understand the foundation of developing a budget and choosing budgeting periods.
- Turn on the budget function in Simply Accounting by Sage.
- Set general ledger accounts ready for budgeting.
- Budget accounts by period.
- Updating budget figures.
- Exporting budget into Microsoft Excel, updating and importing back into Simply Accounting by Sage.
- Generate various reports on budget and budget versus actual figures.
Recommended prerequisites: No previous Simply Accounting by Sage experience required.
