SA-111 General Journal: Uses and Entries
This course demonstrates posting transactions using the General Journal in Simply Accounting. Attendees are shown the hands-on application of posting journal entries, transferring funds between bank accounts, making year end adjusting entries and correcting errors in postings.
After completing this course, the Attendee will have received the information required to:
- Understand the many uses of the General Journal.
- Confirm their knowledge of debits and credits.
- Understand the General Journal window.
- Complete entries in the General Journal.
- Store and recall recurring transactions.
- Adjust General Journal entries.
Recommended prerequisites: Attendees would benefit from a clear understanding of debits and credits and how they work.
