SA-107 Project Job Costing
This course demonstrates the job costing application for the Projects module in Simply Accounting by Sage. Attendees are shown the hands-on application of budgets, allocating revenues and expenses to projects and generating the most common job costing reports used in businesses today.
After completing this course, attendees will have received the information required to:
- Identify when Project / Job costing can be used.
- Prepare to use the project costing module, including setting up balance forwards.
- Budget Projects / Jobs.
- Allocate expenses to Projects / Jobs.
- Allocate revenues to Projects / Jobs.
- Allocate payroll to Projects / Jobs.
- Run various reports on Projects / Jobs.
Recommended prerequisites: Attendees would benefit from prior knowledge of using the Purchases and Sales journals in Simply Accounting by Sage.
