SA-106 Inventory Level 1
This course demonstrates the basics of setting up and using the Inventory module in Simply Accounting by Sage. Attendees are shown the hands-on application of the setup and linking of inventory and service items, purchasing and selling inventory items, inventory adjustments and generating the most common inventory reports used in businesses today.
After completing this course, participants will have received the information required to:
- Understand different types of inventory.
- Understand required general ledger accounts to utilize the inventory module.
- Understand required general ledger accounts to link to inventory items.
- Create inventory & service items.
- Understand how inventory moves through the accounting data.
- Process a purchase order and invoice using inventory.
- Process a sale using inventory.
- Record adjustments to inventory.
- Access and understand basic inventory reports.
Recommended prerequisites: Attendees would benefit from prior knowledge of using the Purchases and Sales journals in Simply Accounting by Sage.
