SA-104 Customers, Sales & Receipts Level 1
This course demonstrates the basics of using the Receivables module in Simply Accounting by Sage. Attendees are shown the hands-on application of creating and maintaining customers, creating and processing sales invoices with and without using inventory, processing and applying customer payments, deposits and receipts and how to make adjustments. Attendees will also be shown the most commonly used reports that pertain to the Receivables module.
After completing this course, attendees will have received the information required to:
- Setup default customer discount settings.
- Create, edit and remove customers.
- Create sales invoices with and without inventory.
- Look up, adjust and reverse sales invoices.
- Setup printing or e-mailing of sales invoices.
- Apply customer payments.
- Process and apply customer deposits.
- Print customer receipts.
- Look up, adjust and reverse customer receipts.
- Retrieve accounts receivable reports in summary and detail.
- Retrieve sales and receipts journal reports.
Recommended prerequisites: No previous Simply Accounting by Sage experience required.
