For over 12 years Dianne and her staff have been helping small business entrepreneurs keep their financial position up front and central in their business.
Her company, Soma Small Business Solutions, was established in 1997 and is located in North Vancouver. Soma provides professional outsourced bookkeeping, with full cycle accounting and payroll services. Soma has earned a reputation as a reliable and very knowledgeable source of bookkeeping help.
Dianne also provides controllership services for a diverse client base. Being a small business owner and having worked in both public practice and large corporate accounting environments, she can communicate effectively with business owners, their accountants and bookkeepers, and the Canada Revenue Agency.
Dianne was a corporate trainer for a large retailer. For the last three years she has travelled throughout BC and Canada conducting Simply Accounting software training. She is currently conducting monthly bookkeeping seminars for startup businesses at Small Business BC.
Dianne's prior achievements include building a successful millwork shop with her husband and receiving the 1992 New Canadian Manufacturers Award of the Year from the Business Development Bank of Canada. She is one of the three co-founders of the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada.
